What are some of the general steps in building a home?
First, we choose the best spot possible for constructing your new Griffin Communities home. We then create plans and get the necessary city or county approval. Once we own the land, we prepare the site for construction, install plumbing, build the foundation and frame the walls. Once the framing is in place, we can then put in the heating, plumbing, electrical systems and fireplaces, per homesite. The next step is to install roofing, lathing, insulation and drywall and fixed features such as cabinetry and countertops. Then we finish the exterior and insides, applying stucco, plumbing fixtures, hardware, wall paint and appliances. Once the driveway, carpeting and tiling is in place, you’ve got a brand new home ready for living.
